Here is my pic for I Heart Faces. This week's theme is birthdays. I decided to have a little fun with my pictures. I just discovered a website where you can get free brushes for Photoshop and I thought I would play around with them.
This is the website I got the brush from:

I LOVE the brush effect. I've never tried to use artistic brushes before, but this makes me want to get a couple of free ones to try out.
Nice job.
I like the brush also. This is the first time I played with a photo also and it was fun. Thanks for the idea of using a brush!
Great shot and I like the brush! I will check them out, Thanks.
Hey Cathy,
That looks really cute! What a pretty smile she has. :)
To get to the download page with all of the free stuff, you have to sign up for her newsletter here:
http://graphics-illustrations.com/downloads/ If I remember right, the link will be sent to you via email.
Once you download all of the freebies, the brush I used was in the set called "bsilvia_photomasks_photoshop_brushes_4_LITE_v7", I believe.
And then, the video tutorial on how to use the brushes as masks is here:
http://graphics-illustrations.com/2009/04/03/how-to-use-photoshop-brushes-as-photo-masks/ (long link! Sorry!)
The link to the action I did is here:

If you still can't get to it, I can email it to you if you want.
Love, Alyssa
p.s. Oh! The kitten on my blog was one of our cat's kittens from a couple of years back.
